It’s really easy! Simply as you normally would. If you happen to be near a toilet, tip any #2’s in (if not, just skip this part), before rolling up your nappy, fasten with a snap. Store dirty nappies in your provided waterproof wet bag until you get home, rinse and store as per usual.
We provide nappies fully assembled with a biodegradable bamboo liner included. When the time comes to change the nappy, tip any solid #2’s into the toilet and dispose of the liner thoughtfully. The nappies must not be used without a liner. We may charge an additional fee if it is evident liners have not been used.
Every baby is different but generally our modern cloth nappies need to be changed every 3 hours.
Yes our nappies are really easy to use for nights too! They will usually require some extra boosting, depending on how much your baby wets through the night. This is a variable factor, and will change as your baby gets older. We supply night boosted nappies in our Full Time Service Package.
Yes if you feel it’s necessary, but please remember if barrier creams come in contact with the nappy they can penetrate the fibres and effect the absorbency. It is always necessary to use a liner for this reason. Nappy liners protect the nappy from faeces and barrier creams. Do NOT use barrier creams unless you use a liner to protect the nappy.
Dry pailing is a nappy storage solution where dirty nappies are stored without any water or lid. Our dry pail system works well to allow air to circulate inside the container, this prevents odours and the build up of harmful bacteria. Ensure your dry pail isn’t in a dark humid corner of your laundry. We recommend a light filled position with lots of air flowing around it. It also helps not to squash the nappies inside as airflow prevents odour and bacteria. A few drops of tea tree oil on a cloth and placed in the bucket can help.
I am experiencing problems with leaks and am having trouble fitting the nappies. How can I get help?
Check out our online support. If you are still having difficulties please try some troubleshooting tips: Check that the nappy is nice and snug. Make sure that all the absorbent parts of the nappy are tucked in and only the waterproof outer layer is visible. Make sure that your baby’s clothes aren’t too tight around the nappy area – low cut waistbands, press stud singlets and tight pants can be problems. You may need to go up a size if things are getting a bit soggy. Sometimes all that’s needed is assembling your nappy a little differently. Please contact us at email@example.com if you require extra boosting. We are more than happy to set up your future nappies with extra boosters at no extra cost. We are similarly happy to book a free visit to give you 1-1 support.
We suggest more frequent nappy changes, especially as soon as the nappy gets soiled. Encourage extra nappy off time and ensure your baby’s bottom is completely dry before putting on a clean nappy. Use a barrier cream to soothe and block moisture from reaching the skin.
